us2pass.com publishes live road conditions for Stevens Pass and US 2 in Washington, using public data from the Washington State Department of Transportation and the National Weather Service. The site is operated by Bright Red Design. This policy describes what data the site itself collects, which is very little by design.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages drivers use, so we can keep the useful pages fast and fix the ones that fail. Analytics data is aggregate: pages viewed, approximate location at the city level, device type, and referral source. We do not build profiles of individual drivers, and we do not sell data to anyone.
If you sign up for storm alerts, we store the email address you give us for the purpose of sending Stevens Pass storm and closure alerts. Signups are forwarded to our studio inbox and held on the alert list. We never sell or share the list, and every alert email carries an unsubscribe path; one email to contact@us2pass.com removes you just as surely.
The site sets the cookies its analytics and its installable web app features require. Camera images and condition data load from WSDOT and weather services, which may set their own cookies under their own policies. There is no advertising on this site and no advertising tracker is loaded.
Road conditions, camera stills, and alerts are WSDOT public information, displayed with attribution and timestamps. Weather data comes from the National Weather Service. Map links on camera pages open Google Maps under Google's own privacy policy.
You can browse every page of this site without giving us anything. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have a signup removed, email contact@us2pass.com and we will handle it promptly. This policy may change as the site grows; the current version always lives at this address.
